Medhi is an achondroplastic dwarf currently residing in Manus Island Detention Centre. On Manus Isalnd he has been isolated and taunted due to his stature with stone thrown at him. Medhi now self harms and has attempted suicide several times.

Doctors have called for a six-year old boy who was the victim of a violent attack by a guard working in detention in Nauru to be urgently moved to Australia for assessment, following his mother’s attempted suicide.
