30 year old Mohsen* was slowly deteriorating on Manus Island. It was not just the pervasive despair around him taking its toll: Mohsen had difficulty breathing, and at times fainted during normal activities such as walking.

Medhi is an achondroplastic dwarf currently residing in Manus Island Detention Centre. On Manus Isalnd he has been isolated and taunted due to his stature with stone thrown at him. Medhi now self harms and has attempted suicide several times.
