Where Does My Money Go

Where Does My Money Go?

Doctors for Refugees is a not-for-profit organisation. At this stage, all of our staff are volunteers - predominantly doctors, medical students, other health workers, lawyers and other professionals who believe in protecting the health and wellbeing of people who have come to Australia seeking asylum.

When you join or donate to Doctors for Refugees, you're helping us:

  • Provide medical advice to people in detention centres

  • Send our representatives to court cases and investigations related to the health impacts of the government's refugee and asylum seeker policy

  • Raise community awareness of the long-term health impacts of offshore detention

  • Grow our network of concerned health professionals across Australia
